Winnipeg’s fuse masters of Prairie-inspired hip-hop and funk, have a new accomplishment to add to their portfolio, as their song, "Things Aint What They Used to Be," has just been selected as a semi-finalist in the R&B/hip-hop category in 2011’s International Songwriting Competition (ISC).
They may only have three years on the scene behind them, but Abstract Artform have already topped earshot hip-hop college radio charts, landed on the Top 25 Hip Hop charts on CMJ in the USA and now, being selected as semi-finalists from over 16,000 entries in ISC 2011, one of Winnipeg’s leading acts is once again proving they are here to stay.
